"Was not hesitant about the purchase.Liked everything the commercial had to say about the rod.When I got it already had bought a reel for it.I put a shimano stradic on it between rod and reel it weighs 6.5 ounces which is not bad.I was able to keep the rod about 10 minutes when my wife came out and held it for about 2 minutes and said that’s light I going to use this from now on.Wish I had known she was going to take it I would have ordered two and saved $20:00 .I went right in and ordered another one UPS delivered it while I was loading the boat to go fishing.I looked when I popped it’s cherry and set the hook on the first fish .As of now I have no complaints might have to move up to the 6x it’s hard to do living on a fixed income.Being retired does have it’s perks gives me plenty of fishing time.Very nice rod for the money"
