Reviews

Ti100 is excelent.

"I am a inshore fisherman fishing in the marshes and close to shore in AL,MS, LA targeting speckled trout and redfish. We do a lot of jig fishing. Matched my new Ti100 with a 6X Trika 6’10” med. fast rod spooled with 15 lb. braid. The combo remains comfortable on long day trips. There is no issue with throwing a lite jig. It’s perfect for me. Recommend w/o reservations."

Trika Ti100 Bait Caster

"I am amazed! I have not purchased a bait caster in over 20yrs. Why, I was limited with casting lighter lures any distances and never got used to thumbing the spool while casting. I read the reviews on the Ti100 and bit the bullet. I did research on the best Braid, paired it with this reel and I am amazed with what I can do with this bait caster. I can cast just as far and further vs my Spin Cast reals and I have more control while jigging for Walleye. Just getting started for the Walleye season in CO but very excited. Great job Trika! It was worth price value!"

Honestly the best casting reel I've ever owned!

"One thing I wasn't sure was gonna work for me was the size I'm 6ft 5" and have big hands long fingers but it's almost as if it was designed for my hand I can grip it perfectly and hope to buy another!"

"Love the feel of the reel and seems to be well built, but not as smooth as some of my other reels."

Impressed

"I’ve been fishing another reel brand and paying more for the upgraded model. So far impressed with how lightweight and smooth the casting is. Casting distance is great without any extra As a saltwater wade fisherman I am interested to see how it holds up after repeated use. I am having to replace bearings constantly in my other reels."

Trika rods, I’m coming for you next!

"So many great baitcasters out there now. You can get some from Japan really cheap. But I’ve read the reviews and thought I’d check out Trika. I lika my Trika, look folks, I have some great reels that I really like and don’t need anymore. With the return policy, I thought why not? This reel is definitely NOT going back! In fact, a week later I bought a left handed reel for jerkbaits. The tolerances are as precise as any reel I’ve owned. But for me, the most important feature is distance casting. It’s truly impressive, better than any reel I’ve used by a good amount of. SMOOTH TOO! The folks at Trika are really on to something, plus you get in person service (not something you can get purchasing internationally) THE HYPE IS DESERVED if you can swing it, I think you will be adding your enthusiastic review to this site too. I’m almost hoping I “accidentally “ break one of my rods so I can justify buying a Trika rod soon. Congratulations to the team at Trika."

Q&A

The Ceramic Bearing Difference

This reel is equipped with ABEC 7 full ceramic spool bearings to provide exceptional rotation performance.

Ceramic Bearings are designed to run COMPLETELY DRY and require NO LUBRICATION.

These bearings have quicker start up inertia and hit higher RPM than Steel bearings giving you longer and more accurate casts.

Full ceramic bearings are more efficient, last longer and saltwater proof. The ceramic bearing sound in our baitcasting reels is the result of the harder material and lower friction compared to steel bearings, leading to a louder, high-pitched sound during casting. That’s the sound of ultimate performance!
